Hailey Bieber has been known to steal magazine covers and news headlines. This time, she is no exception.
Speaking to Vogue after the magazine chose her for the June cover, the 28-year-old model opened up about various aspects of her life and one of them was her motherhood.
Far from romanticizing it, Bieber commented that she really suffered bringing Jack Blues into the world on August 26, 2024. "Giving birth was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life," she declared.
After 39 weeks of gestation, the 28-year-old model began leaking amniotic fluid and when she arrived at the hospital, doctors had to induce labor.
"That was not fun. They broke my water. I went into labor and I labored for a few hours. No epidural, nothing," said the Rhodes founder.
And the truth is that Hailey was in labor for 18 hours and, as if that wasn't enough, after giving birth to her son, she suffered a postpartum hemorrhage. This life-threatening condition worried the model a lot, but she confessed that it also gave her peace of mind to count on her doctor:
I trust my doctor with my life, and so I had peace that I knew she would never let anything happen to me. But I was bleeding really badly, and people die, and the thought crosses your mind.
The torment did not end there
After securing her physical well-being, the Bieber family was able to move into her home. From there, she faced her postpartum period, which she defined as "the most delicate moment she has ever lived" due to her new reality and surrounded by rumors regarding the crisis in her marriage. "it is such a mindf***," she said.
However, the arrival of Jack Blues also brought a lot more courage to her mother, as she confessed: "I was so not confrontational before. It was not easy for me to express things that bothered me or when people were pushing or stepping over boundaries," she said. "And now I just feel so much more clear about, 'Hey, this does not work for me.'" said Hailey, who argued to have denounced her haters.
Justin stands by his wife and its he was wrong
On his official Instagram , the singer shared the photos of his wife for Vogue, and accompanied the post with a curious anecdote: "Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight" he began.
"I told hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean. For some reason because I felt so disrespected. I thought I gotta get even" confessed Justin.
"I think as we mature we realize that we're not helping anything by getting even. we're honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection." said Hailey's husband.
To end the post, Justin closed by saying, "So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken."
This description did not take long to arouse the astonishment of his followers, who were confused and stunned after his words: "This caption is diabolical", "a simple 'congrats to my wife' would've been enough but alright", "I love you Justin but what the f***" said some of his followers. "Why are you telling us this bruv?" wondered others.
However, minutes later he deleted the description and shared only two photos of the session with four emojis: Shrugging Man, Finger Pointing At You, Hands Forming A Heart and a Face Holding Back Tears.
