It has not been a great past couple of months for Joe Biden. The current President of the United States saw Donald Trump win the election against Biden's VP, Kamala Harris. Now, he's being criticized for his lack of swift initial action in regard to the wildfires that have ravaged Southern California.
While Biden deals with the aftermath, some notable California residents were able to come away unscathed from the fires. That includes Mark Zuckerberg, who resides in Palo Alto near San Francisco. Since he's safe and sound, Zuckerberg took the liberty to make a media appearance, and in it he called out Biden for certain things that happened in the past, in addition to the wildfire situation.
Mark Zuckerberg's Joe Biden story on the Joe Rogan podcast
Zuckerberg appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast and spoke about many topics, but one in particular drew more attention than the others. The Meta CEO spoke at length about his issues with the government, particularly with Biden officials who "screamed" and "cursed" at executives for the company.
[They] tried to censor anyone who is basically arguing against it. And they pushed us super hard to take down things that were honestly, were true. They basically pushed us and said, you know, that 'anything saying that says vaccines might have side effects, you basically need to take down.' And I was just like 'We're not going to do that, we're clearly not going to do that.
Essentially, the Biden istration tried to censor content on Meta platforms. According to Zuckerberg, they "started investigating and coming after our company". Of course, that didn't exactly fall under government jurisdiction, so nothing came of it.
Zuckerberg recently announced changes to the Meta board of directors, with UFC president Dana White being one of the three new . John Elkann and Charlie Songhurst were the other two.
