- Cleveland Browns. Jerry Jeudy could make Shedeur Sanders shine, and there's already chemistry between them at the Cleveland Browns
- Cleveland Browns. Shedeur Sanders has "almost zero chance" to win Browns starting QB job by September
Many times, the mystique and chemistry within a team are what lead to success. If the of a locker room get along well, positive results will follow, and this is great news for the Cleveland Browns, as two players who could be their pillars in the 2025 NFL season are getting along famously.
Despite the fierce battle for the starting quarterback position, Jerry Jeudy knows he must build a connection with all four contenders in the quarterback room, as the es he catches will come from one of them.
Which Quarterback Has Jerry Jeudy Already Clicked With?
You only need to watch the from last season to reach the same conclusion: Jerry Jeudy was the Browns' best wide receiver, and by a wide margin. Now, he's revealed that there's one quarterback he's already clicked with, and it happened right as the team kicked off OTAs this week.
"[Joe Flacco] is actually my locker mate, so I had some conversation with him from time to time," said Jeudy. "A great dude, great quarterback, been in the league for a long time, understands this, and I'm excited to have him."
It's good news that Jeudy and Flacco are starting to build a strong connection, as the best results between a wide receiver and a QB often stem from these off-field relationships.
"It's a little bit of personal," said Jeudy. "We just had a personal conversation before I came out here, something that I ain't going to say out here in the media. We just be talking. Nothing major."
"If you're assuming we're in there talking about football, we're not usually," said Flacco. "I can't tell you what we were just talking about in there, but it's fun. Yeah, I love that. I was walking back to my locker, and three guys were sitting right there and I'm like, 'all right, what's the topic? What are we talking about?'"
Joe Flacco has his own praise for Jeudy, whom he considers a supremely gifted player at his position and likely sees as vital for his own statistical success. However, to achieve this, Flacco must first win the starting role, competing against Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, and the high-profile Shedeur Sanders.
"He's exciting," Flacco said of Jeudy. "I mean, he's got speed, he's got route-running ability, and you can see the look in his eyes. He wants to be good, and he wants to do it the right way. So it's exciting to be around him."
