"Extremely challenging" testimony precedes hospitalization

Her emotional included testimony about time spent in rehab and trauma therapy in the years after their relationship ended. Ventura's husband, fitness trainer Alex Fine, who is also the father of her children, was present in court as a source of throughout her powerful testimony.

After stepping down from the witness stand, Ventura released a public statement about the personal toll her testimony had taken, calling the experience "extremely challenging" but also "remarkably empowering and healing for me."

"I'm glad to put this chapter of my life to rest. As I turn to focus on the conclusion of my pregnancy, I ask for privacy for me and my growing family."
