In December last year, Blake Lively formally filed a complaint against co-star and director Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment during the making of her movie "It Ends With Us".

He adamantly denies her allegations and filed a $400 million defamation and extortion countersuit against her, her husband, her publicist Leslie Sloane and her PR firm, Vision PR.

Wrapped up in this legal battle, the 37-year-old actress was spotted sporting a rather casual and laid-back look.

With her hair down and almost no makeup, Blake wore jeans, a textured purple sleeveless blouse and a Louis Vuitton flower print handbag. Her Nike sneakers completed the oufit.

In the midst of it, Mike Gottlieb, the actress' lawyer, confirmed that Blake is willing to speak under oath in court.

Who was also left in the middle of the controversy was singer Taylor Swift, who was called to testify as a witness in the case. However, her team of lawyers argues that the singer only appears in the film because of the use of "My Tears Ricochet", a song that belongs to the album Folklore, released in 2020, and that is not related to the film.

In response, Gottlieb made it clear that "This case is about what happened to Blake Lively when she reported sexual harassment on set. It's not about how the songs were chosen for the film. It's not about the fictional Marvel characters in the Deadpool movies," he argued in reference to Ryan Reynolds, Lively's husband, who it is unknown whether he will be called to testify, as his name appears among the defendants in Baldoni's countersuit.

Swift's lawyers not happy at all

A representative for the multi-award winning artist told DailyMail.com that: "Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this film, was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, nor did she compose the soundtrack for the film" and that she was headlining "the biggest tour in history".

For this reason, the representative believes that they are using his fame to give more relevance to the case, since Taylor only "licensed a song for the movie, which 19 other artists also did...This is a very serious legal matter, not the Barnum & Bailey circus," he said.
