This Saturday, May 31, the world will witness a historic final: Paris Saint Germain and Inter Milan will meet for the first time in an official match, no less than to compete for the Champions League title at the impressive Munich Football Arena. It is a venue that was already the protagonist in 1993, when Marseille defeated Milan.

PSG, led by Luis Enrique, are looking for their first title after losing in the 2020 final. This will be their second final. Inter, on the other hand, want to end a 15-year drought without winning the tournament, after losing the 2023 final to Manchester City. Both teams arrive with full squads and high expectations.

But before the kick-off, the spotlight will be on another show: legendary rock band Linkin Park will give a special performance as part of the Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi.

The US band, who recently released their new album From Zero after seven years without new music, will mix their classics with a renewed approach. They have also prepared a special remix of their hit "Numb", inspired by the sounds of football: the kick of the ball, the chants of the fans and the energy of the stadium.

"We're excited to be living this unique experience. We've never done anything like this before," said Mike Shinoda, the band's co-founder. Bassist Dave Farrell added: "Playing in makes it even more special, our fans here are amazing."

The performance will be available to watch in over 200 countries via UEFA.com, UEFA's YouTube channel, and local TV stations. In the United States, the final will be broadcast on Paramount+ and TUDN, starting at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Between football and rock, May 31 promises to be an unforgettable night in Munich that will fuse sport and art under one roof.
