Jorge Masvidal: When my son is there training to box, I could almost like f***ing ball up in tears of happiness

Jorge Masvidal has made a significant impact in the UFC and later transitioned to become a fight promoter after retiring from professional fighting.

Despite a remarkable UFC career, Masvidal chose to retire from the sport after experiencing four consecutive losses, but he left the door open for a potential return if an interesting opportunity arises.

In a recent interview, the 38-year-old fighter expressed his concern about financial stability after retirement, especially since he has three kids to take care of. He has two daughters and a son with his ex-girlfriend Iman Kava.

On 'The George Janko Show,' Masvidal discussed his hopes for his kids, expressing his desire for them to avoid pursuing fighting careers due to the challenges it can bring and the potential loneliness of being different from others.

Instead, he envisions them getting involved in business and leading fulfilling lives. However, it seems that his eight-year-old son is already following in his father's footsteps in the world of fighting.

"I've had him training now for three weeks to stand up because he's been asking me 'I want to do kickboxing, I want to do boxing'," Masvidal said.

"He's been asking me for some time and I'm like literally for a year, he was asking me, I was like 'All right bro you want it that bad' so I set him up with my coach.

"My coach is teaching him like three times a week. This dude looks like he's been doing it for a f***ing year or two...

"When he's there I could almost like f***ing ball up in tears sometimes of happiness. Like bro this is crazy. What was given to me is immediately bestowed on this little f***er."
