The rumors surrounding Tyreek Hill continue

If Patrick Mahomes or any NFL team wants to acquire Tyreek Hill, they will have to pay a very high price in the Draft

In this NFL offseason, one of the main talking points has undoubtedly been Tyreek Hill. The star wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins is always in the conversation, whether for good or bad reasons, because despite his behavior, there's no doubt that many teams would love to have him due to his talent.

At the end of the last season, when the Miami Dolphins were eliminated from the playoffs in their final game against the Buffalo Bills, Tyreek threatened to leave the franchise, essentially saying goodbye to the media. However, weeks later, he mentioned that he was committed to the team and focused on helping them reach a Super Bowl.

The Miami Dolphins General Manager put a price on Tyreek Hill

Chris Grier, the general manager of the Miami Dolphins, spoke to the media and mentioned that they are not offering Tyreek Hill for trade, but that could change if a team offers two first-round picks.

"That's not something we're actively looking for. Who knows? If someone wants to come and offer me two first-round picks, we would consider it," said Grier.

Despite this, Grier indicated that Hill is fully committed to the team for the next season.

"Tyreek Hill has been in the facilities and working with the new wide receivers coach, Robert Prince, about every other day early in the offseason. Hill has shown that he wants to be in Miami."

Tyreek Hill is under contract with the Dolphins

The reality is that offering two first-round picks for Tyreek Hill to go to another team is almost like locking him up because, in addition, the former Miami Dolphins player is under contract.

Tyreek Hill signed a restructured contract with the Miami Dolphins in August 2024, lasting three years and worth $90 million, including $65 million in guarantees. He has only completed one year of that deal, so a team would have to give two first-round picks to the Dolphins and pay the remaining balance of the contract, making it very difficult for him to leave the franchise.
