On the always emotional Mother's Day, Tom Brady posted on his social media to pay tribute to his mother, Galynn.
"Happy Mother's Day to the strongest and most inspiring woman I know. Your love is the foundation of our family! You've faced life's toughest challenges with grace and determination, and still always put us first.
Thank you for being our rock and an example for your children and grandchildren. We are endlessly grateful for everything you've done and everything you continue to be. We love you more than words can express."
Galynn had four children: Maureen, Julie, Nancy, and Tom Brady Jr., who is the youngest and the only son. They settled in San Mateo, California, where she raised her children in a remarkable way, keeping Tom focused on sports.
In 2016, Galynn received a heartbreaking stage-two breast cancer diagnosis. After undergoing several surgeries, chemotherapy sessions, and radiation treatments, she managed to overcome the illness and was present at Super Bowl LI in 2017, where Brady led a spectacular comeback against the Atlanta Falcons.

After the tribute he posted to his mother, Brady shared more photos on his Instagram stories of his ex-wife Gisele - mother of two of his children - and his former partner Bridget Moynahan, with whom he had his eldest son, Jack.
"Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible moms I'm lucky to have in my life," Brady wrote.
That's how Brady didn't leave anyone out and continues to be a role model both on and off the field.
