Taylor Swifthas been keeping an incredibly low profile since the end of her Eras Tour and Travis Kelce lost the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs.
It is known that the couple have been spending plenty of time together and they have been on trips to destinations like Big Sky and Park City.
However, one of her closest friends has given an insight as to why she is keeping a low profile at the moment.
Singer Gracie Abrams, who opened for Swift a lot during the Eras Tour, spoke to Billboard and explained how the weight of fame can take an impact on Taylor and how she got to see her deal with it first hand.
"I feel like I learned a lot from her, obviously," Abrams shared, "but one of the things that I've felt lucky to observe is how extreme it can be [for her]. It helps right-size my own s***.
"It's like, I really don't have it that bad in of invasion of privacy, you know what I mean?" she added.
Swift is doing what she needs to do
It is clear that Swift disappearing for a while is not just about spending time with Kelce, it is about maintaining her own mental health in the face of so much public exposure and fame.
"They've been hitting the slopes... where they blended right in," a source previously explained about what Swift and Kelce have been up to. "They love the anonymity."
Fans may be missing Swift's usual public appearances, but as she wisely said herself: "When you say a relationship is public, that means I'm going to see him do what he loves, we're showing up for each other, other people are there and we don't care."
