Despite his struggles, Kelce is now the host of a game show where contestants face off against celebrities to test their knowledge. But is the two-time Super Bowl champ smarter than a celebrity? He's still figuring that out.
Kelce also reflected on his brainy brother, Jason, who was the exact opposite when it came to school. "He was an honors student. He tested well and all that. He decided to be in all advanced classes. I was like, 'That's too much homework for me.'" According to Travis, Jason would probably do great on the show, adding, "I'll be interested to hear him talk about it when he sees it."
Stepping into the hosting role for Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? has been an exciting new challenge for the Chiefs' tight end. "I'm excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first show. The original version was a great success, and now with celebrities ing in, it's going to be even more entertaining," Kelce said.
Kelce's talents extend beyond game show hosting. He recently dipped his toes into acting, starring in the horror show Grotesquerie. His co-stars have been full of praise for the football star's unexpected acting chops.
Emmy-winning actor Courtney B. Vance said Kelce was "wonderful" and well-prepared on set, while Niecy Nash, who plays his on-screen wife, described the experience of working with him as "wonderful."
With Kelce balancing football, TV hosting, and acting, it's safe to say this NFL star is proving there's more to him than just touchdowns!
