- Ravens vs Chiefs LIVE Updates: The players are getting ready to start the season
- What does Chiefs star Travis Kelce eat before NFL games? His go-to pre-game meal revealed
Another season of the NFL is here and with that, people are ready to see Travis Kelce games with the Kansas City Chiefs as Taylor Swift attends them and gets plenty of time on the screen as she will at the stadium for many of them.
With that said, there will be one key component missing this year, just like last season. No Taylor Swift songs will be played at Arrowhead Stadium during the team's games, as it has been a topic of conversation for the couple and front office.
While there is no secret that thousands of Swift's fans also attend games at Arrowhead Stadium and millions watch at home, there will be no singing her songs, at least because of them being played at the venue and there is good reason for it.
The reason behind the decision
The Kansas City Chiefs president, Mark Donovan, revealed that the decision behind it all has to do out of a conversation with the team's tight end, as it was a very important one that carries on from last year.
"This is another conversation we had with Travis was, we did our very best to respect the relationship. Last season, in Arrowhead Stadium, we didn't play a single Taylor Swift song during our games. And that was a sign of respect," he said.
"We're not trying to capitalize on this. We're trying to celebrate it, but it's not about doing too much or showing her every touchdown or anything like that. She never appeared on our big board," he added, in what seems to be a case that is closed.
