Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may need to watch out, as there might just be another NFL couple rivalling their popularity. Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany are well on their way to become an American sports power couple after dazzling onlookers in their most recent public outing.
While the Kansas City Chiefsquarterback is used to being the man of the hour, it was a huge night on May 16 for Brittany after launching her new career as a swimwear model.
Patrick and Brittany attended the star-studded 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue launch party at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York to celebrate her recently being included in the magazine's Rookie class.
It was the least he could do given that Brittany, 28, never misses a game at Arrowhead Stadium and is always cheering on her husband when he comes under fire, especially on social media.
Both put on their finest attire for the star-studded event and Patrick, also 28, stepped up his game with a suave black BOSS suit.
Not only did he look smart next to his wife, Mahomes earned some praise from his close friend Travis Kelce, who commented on Instagram: "All black double breasted", adding a series of fire emojis.
Brittany also sparkled as she flaunted her figure in a silver Oscar de la Renta dress which featured a halter neckline, and cut-outs that were a subtle nod to the fashion house's style.
Patrick Mahomes still besotted with Brittany
The pair, who got hitched in 2021, still can't get enough of each other and Patrick showed his pride with some heartfelt words for his glamorous wife.
He wrote on Instagram: "Proud of you @brittanylynne," with the mother of two adding on her own post: "brought my +1 to @si_swimsuit" with a smiling and heart emoji.
"My baby" she also wrote on her Instagram Stories. "Just love him endlessly."
