- NFL. New Deion Sanders recruit harshly criticized by Colorado Buffaloes fans: "Holy downgrade"
- NFL. Why was Deion Sanders missing from Travis Hunter's wedding?
Shedeur Sanders, son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, was one of the most talked-about prospects of the 2025 NFL Draft cycle. While he was projected to be selected in the first round by many analysts, Shedeur fell to the fifth, costing him tens of millions in contract value. Despite the financial setback, his four-year, $4.64 million rookie deal with a $447,380 g bonus hasn't stopped him from flaunting his signature style and taste for luxury.
Over the weekend, speculation erupted online after it was reported that Sanders had purchased a $500,000 custom Rolls-Royce. The reports surfaced not long after his appearance at the wedding of former Colorado Buffaloes teammate Travis Hunter and his longtime partner Leanna Lenee, held at The Barn at Faith Farms in Athens, Tennessee.
A luxury lifestyle, a wedding celebration and Shedeur's signature flair
While Hunter and Lenee pulled out all the stops for their special day-including extravagant décor, a show-stopping wedding dress, and even a stunning gift reveal-Sanders made a splash of his own in the wedding guest photo gallery. Images that surfaced online show Shedeur posing in a track suit, standing next to sharply dressed guests in formal attire.
Though it's possible the track suit was his travel outfit and he changed later for the ceremony, the photos quickly went viral, with fans reacting to the juxtaposition between his casual look and the event's black-tie atmosphere.
Nonetheless, Sanders' presence was notable, especially since some speculated that other of the Sanders family, including Coach Deion and brother Shilo, were not in attendance.
Hunter, who has often described Deion Sanders as a father figure, also played alongside both Shedeur and Shilo at Colorado. That bond has extended beyond the field, as evidenced by Shedeur making time to attend the wedding despite his demanding offseason with the Browns.
While Shedeur has kept relatively quiet in of public statements since being drafted, his presence is still felt across social media. He made waves earlier this year with a jaw-dropping diamond chain at the NFL Draft and a briefcase filled with what was claimed to be $1 million in cash at his post-draft celebration.
