This Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC Championship Game, marking their fourth playoff meeting in the last five years.
With the Chiefs boasting a 3-0 record against the Bills in postseason matchups, Buffalo enters this contest with a point to prove, aiming to end their playoff drought against the reigning Super Bowl champions.
Buffalo has reason for optimism, having defeated Kansas City during the regular season in Week 11. However, since that setback, the Chiefs have rebounded impressively, going 7-1, with their only loss coming in a meaningless Week 18 game where their backup players fell 38-0 to the Denver Broncos.
Kansas City's recent form and disciplined gameplay have positioned them as favorites heading into this high-stakes showdown.

According to NFL analyst Robert Griffin III, one of the critical factors behind the Chiefs' resurgence has been their ability to limit turnovers.
He noted that Kansas City has not committed a single turnover in their last eight games, a stark contrast to their Week 11 matchup with Buffalo when quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw two interceptions.
Griffin highlighted the importance of ball security in this heavyweight matchup.
"The Kansas City Chiefs haven't had a turnover in 8 straight games. Last game they had a turnover? Buffalo Bills Week 11. Patrick Mahomes had 2 INTs but has played clean ball since. Protecting the ball is always a MASSIVE key to winning, but for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, it's been their secret sauce to winning this heavyweight matchup when it matters most," he posted on X.
Buffalo's defence must step up
Buffalo's defense will need to replicate their earlier success in forcing Mahomes into errors if they hope to disrupt Kansas City's momentum and punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.
Over the years, Patrick Mahomes has built a reputation as one of the most explosive quarterbacks in NFL history.
Mahomes has adapted his game to prioritize efficiency and minimize mistakes, contributing to the Chiefs' recent success. His evolution as a more disciplined quarterback, coupled with Kansas City's improved ball security, has made the team even more formidable.
