- Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes reflects on his NFL villian role and the hostility of playing against 40k middle fingers
The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to remain undefeated this Sunday as they prepare to battle the Buffalo Bills in a game that promises to bring the very best out of two of the top teams in the NFL.
Patrick Mahomes,Travis Kelce and Andy Reid have the edge over Josh Allen,Amari Cooper and Sean McDermott, with the Chiefs with a 4-3 record on their last 7 games, including playoffs.
However, the 8-2 Bills have a secret weapon against the 9-0 Chiefs: explosive running back James Cook, according to NFL Network analyst and presentator Kyle Brandt.
"The guy who brings the energy is James Cook, No 4. Josh Allen is never more excited when James Cook scores. He calls him 'Jimbo', when he plays really well he calls him 'Himbo' We need a 'Himbo' game today out of James Cook." said Brandt.
The expert went on to say that a player cannot be considered the star running back of the Bills because you play well against the Indianapolis Colts or the Seattle Seahawks.
"It is against the Chiefs. I know that we have seen some good things from the Bills running game. We need to get No. 4. (Josh Allen and Khalil Shakir) need that guy (James Cook)." added Brandt.
Chiefs face their toughest battle yet

The Chiefs are currently 100% for the season with a perfect nine wins, a miracle considering their injuries to Rashee Rice, Hollywood Brown and Isiah Pacheco, whilst the Bills enter with an 8-2 record but issues for Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid.
So in what could be a preview of the 2024 AFC Championship game, fans will be keen to tune into the match to get a look at the two best teams in the conference at the moment as the AFC East leaders take on the AFC West table-toppers.
And it has huge ramifications for the NFL Playoffs picture too. If the Chiefs win, they will open up either a two-game lead to the team behind them (either the Bills or the Pittsburgh Steelers) to hand them a commanding position into the latter part of the season.
