As the NCAA football season looms, university programs across the nation are intensifying their preparations. For the Colorado Buffaloes, this season marks Deion 'Coach Prime' Sanders' third year at the helm. With his iconic presence and unique coaching style, Sanders aims to build upon the team's progress and make a significant impact in the campaign.

In the latest episode of his 'We Got Time' podcast, Deion Sanders welcomed boxing legend Claressa Shields. After their conversation, Shields provided Sanders with a hands-on boxing lesson, emphasizing the importance of maintaining his guard and demonstrating fundamental boxing techniques.

Knockout! Primetime coach learned a lesson on his live show from a female boxer.

Claressa Shields is undeniably a boxing icon. A two-time Olympic gold medalist (London 2012, Rio 2016), she boasts a flawless professional record of 16-0 with 3 knockouts. She's achieved the extraordinary feat of becoming the New Heavyweight Undisputed Champion of the World and a 4-time Undisputed Middleweight Champion, all while accumulating an incredible 17 world championships.

Undisputed world champion Claressa Shields has had her doping suspension lifted. The 29-year-old American, who tested positive for marijuana after her February 3rd victory over Danielle Perkins in Michigan, was initially suspended by the Michigan Unarmed Combat Commission. However, on March 6th, Shields provided evidence that led the Commission to determine that her conduct no longer posed a threat to the sport's integrity, public interest, or contestant safety. Consequently, her suspension was rescinded.

Deion Sanders' transformative impact on the Colorado Buffaloes in such a brief period. Beyond his legendary athletic career, he's evolving into a genuine force for personal growth, not just a football coach. He's instilling a new mentality, shaping character, and inspiring individuals, demonstrating a commitment that extends far beyond the football field.

Through his engaging podcast conversations, like the one with Claressa Shields, Deion Sanders fosters a strong sense of community both within his team and across social media. He consistently shares life lessons and inspirational messages, exemplified by his virtual appearance with Denzel Washington, further solidifying his role as a mentor and motivator beyond the football field.
