THE STAGE IS SET FOR GAME 5!
The Dodgers had dominating performances since Game 1. Flaherty was good but the team's offense has been incredible, especially Freddie Freeman. He has recorded home runs in each of the first four games of the World Series to set a record for Major League Baseball but that is not all.
He has also gotten home runs in the last six World Series games he has played, dating back to his time with the Atlanta Braves and that also is an MLB record, and he is the only player to record 10 or more RBI's in the first four games of the fall classic. All this after Shohei Ohtani has been very quiet during the series.
While other have contributed for the Dodgers success as well, the Yankees have struggled. Aaron Judge has shined because of his lack of clutch hitting and even when Giancarlo Stanton has looked good at the plate, it has not been enough and the pithing staff for New York has not been on point.
To many the Dodgers bullpen has looked amazing, others say that it is because of the little offense challenges they have received from New York, but there is no question that so far, World Series has been disappointing and not because what the Dodgers have done.
The Dodgers look to luck up the championship and silence the critics that claim that the title won during the Covid season has an asterisk because of the number of games, while the Yankees look stay hot to continue their run that would force a Game 6 on Friday in Los Angeles looking to make history by coming back from a 0-3 deficit in the World Series.
