Even though, the former Vice President of the United States of America, Kamala Harris wasn't on the stage during the benefit concert LA Fireaid, she was at some point the center of the attention.

The Democrats' 2024 candidate for president and former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff walked into the Intuit Dome VIP seats as big cheers and claps from fans were recorded; this meanwhile some of the biggest musicians of this generation get together to collect funds in order of the LA wildfires.

Kamala Harris and husband clapped by public at LA Fireaid

This is the second time Kamala and her husband appear in public in just over a week stepping out for wildfire relief. After the Donald Trump's Inauguration Day, both were involved in the World Central Kitchen (WCK) food delivery for families affected by the fires.

Kamala and her California's relationship

She had spent nearly her entire life in California, aside her stay in Quebec during middle and high scool. She went to University of California, Hastings College of Law, and was the district attorney of San Francisco and then the attorney general of California for two before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2017.

In 2012, before they got engaged and even met, Doug Emhoff paid $2.7 million for their 3,500-square-foot house in Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, where LeBron James own a multimillion-dollar mansion.

The place hasn't been directly affected by the LA wildfires. The mansion worth of $4.7 million was affected back in 2019 by the Getty Fire, which burned 745 acres in the area.

As I said before, Kamala was not the main attraction during the LA Fireaid, Artists like Billie Eilish, Pink, Katy Perry, Nirvana and Dr Dre performed on Thursday night, for a benefit concert in Los Angeles to help the area recover from two of the largest fires in its history.

In total 20 artists from different music genres took to the stage for a five-hour show, simultaneously at two large venues, Intuit Dome and KIA Forum, in the city and raising money for wildfire relief efforts. Other main artists like No Doubt, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Sting, Alais Morrissette, Anderson Paak, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers were also part of the show.

The event was produced by Shelli, Irving, and the Azoff family, in collaboration with producing partner Live Nation, and operating partner, the LA Clippers.
