Will Smith may never forget the filming with National Geographic for a new adventure show. His journey through the Bameno region, in the Baihuaeri Waorani territory, for scenes from 'Pole to Pole with Will Smith', ended up placing him in a scientific milestone. During the filming, the team of scientists spotted the largest anaconda ever recorded.

To film this new show, the team led by Will Smith and a group of scientists embarked on the jungle together with indigenous hunters to find large snakes. On one of the expeditions following the river systems by canoe, they managed to capture a 6.3-meter anaconda, the largest recorded to date.

The most impressive thing about this story is that locals believe these snakes can grow even larger. They are estimated to reach up to seven meters in length in adulthood. This would make the northern green anaconda the largest snake on the planet. For the moment, the record has been set at just 70 centimeters less.
