Jamie Foxx thanked fans for checking on him after he needed stiches following an alleged assault on his 57th birthday, after someone threw a glass that hit him whilst he was in a Los Angeles restaurant.
Known for his role as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: No Way Home, the actor seemed in good spirits just days after the incident that occurred as he was partying at Mr. Chow.
It appears the glass was aimed at the comedian, who has been accused of sexual assault in the past, so that led to local law enforcement being summoned, who have now taken over the matter.
Either way, it seems as though the Academy Award-winning actor, who also has a carer in music, has been able to shrug the December 13 incident off as he says he is too blessed to be stressed.
"The devil is busy, but I'm too blessed to be stressed," Foxx wrote via Instagram Stories. "The devil is a lie. Can't win here. Thank you to everybody that pray [sic] and check [sic] on me.
"When your light is shining bright, they try to bring you darkness, but they don't know that you're built for it. The lights have been shining bright."
What happened at Mr. Chow on December 13?
Beverly Hills Police Department described receiving a call about an assault with a deadly weapon, before they later revealed the deadly weapon claim is "unfounded", but that there was a physical dispute.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, with eyewitnesses describing how customers were rude to the actor, who requested to be left alone because he was with his family.
Prior to the moment, he had been seen g autographs outside and itted he was grateful to be alive after suffering a brain bleed that left him hospitalized for weeks in the early part of 2023.
