Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ready to give their marriage a 'makeover' as a very important anniversary in their lives is on the horizon.
It is soon going to be exactly five years since Harry and Meghan formally stepped away from their roles as active of the British Royal Family, and they could choose to mark the occasion of what was an incredibly tough and risky decision.
They relocated to California and tried to build a life that was centered on them and their children, away from the spotlight that comes with being a part of the royal family.
A source has spoken to OK! Magazine about how the pair view that decision down the line and how they could choose to mark the anniversary of it.
"It will be five years since Meghan and Harry quit the royals in January - and while they say it was the best decision for them, there's no denying it's been very hard and stressful for them at times, which has often put them on the brink," the source explained.
They went their own way
There is often tension in their relationship given they are trying to carve their own path and have family in two countries very far away from each other, but they now want to put more effort into their marriage and make some changes.
"They are using this time to work out what they really want and put more effort back into their marriage and give it a bit of a makeover. They it that sometimes their relationship suffers because they're too busy with work and their kids - but having seen what they have achieved in the past half-decade, they've realized that they want to get back to how they were, and that takes work," the source said.
