Ben Affleck continues to enjoy his single life in the company of his children, and now the Oscar-winning actor was seen this weekend alongside his 13-year-old son Samuel, taking a stroll through Beverly Hills.
The pair went shopping together to buy a gift for Samuel's mother, Jennifer Garner, with whom Ben also shares Violet, 19, and Fin, 16.
Affleck, who dated Cuban actress Ana de Armas between 2020 and 2021, welcomed the new relationship of the Blonde actress, alongside veteran and renowned actor Tom Cruise.
Meanwhile, the Batman actor took the opportunity to go out with his son, with whom he enjoyed a day of shopping while cooling off with drinks in casual but stylish clothes.
Ben wore a salmon pink polo shirt with khaki pants and white high-top sneakers, and at times wore sunglasses, as did Samuel in an outdoor shopping area in the upscale Beverly Hills area.
Affleck's jealousy of Cruise goes beyond his relationship with Ana de Armas
"Ben is a little jealous," a source told DailyMail.com after news broke about the new relationship between De Armas and Cruise, an old friend of Ben's in Hollywood.
"He always liked Ana, but she left and it made him sad. So seeing her happy with his friend is a bit strange for him," the source added.
Affleck's friends have also reportedly joked that the star "should get back at Cruise by dating his ex-wife Katie Holmes", while others have said that Affleck has always felt jealous of Cruise's brilliant career in action films.
"I think every working actor in Hollywood is jealous of Tom's success, and Ben is no exception," the source added. "But Ben is also happy for Tom. I mean, he ires that a 60-year-old colleague is still so successful on the big screen.
