Steph Curry might not be the most popular basketball player in the life of his nephew after Daxon was spotted captivated by the WNBA's Caitlin Clark whilst watching her watch the Golden State Warriors vs the Phoenix Suns.
The 22-year-old Indiana Fever star headed to the Footprint Center in Arizona and so did young Daxon Curry-Lee, son of Sydel Curry-Lee, who quickly found himself interested in Clark when she appeared on the screen.
"Sis always gonna catch a vibe lol. Daxon is staring at one of his favs lol," Sydel posted to Instagram Stories with a photo of the youngster starting straight ahead, oblivious to his mom's camera phone, as he also wore ear defenders.
The Fever's guard has become incredibly popular since she smashed the NCAA points record with the Iowa Hawkeyes, and is also becoming a model professional for the next generation interested in basketball.
Clark is known for her excellent approach to meeting and greeting fans, as well as her ability to stay out of controversy on and off the court, as she also backs up her talent with results and became the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year.
Curry-Lee pregnant with her third child
Curry-Lee was at the venue to watch her husband and her brother compete on opposing sides, as Damion Lee stars for the Suns and left the Footprint Center with the bragging rights as he handed Steph a 113-105 loss.
That caps off a good week for the Curry-Lee household after they announced they are expecting their third child together via TikTok, with Daxon adding an ornament to their Christmas tree, to reveal the news.
"Thankful to say the least," Curry-Lee posted to TikTok. "We are so excited to announce our newest little miracle that we never could have imagined.
"After experiencing the miracle of IVF we are now living in the miracle of natural conception due May 2025. Thank you Lord! #LeeForThree #babynumber3."
