The WNBA's 2024 All-Star game has already done the unthinkable by making Angel Reese get along with the Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark as the Chicago Sky forward announces a 24-hour ceasefire to their rivalry.

The rival pair will turn into colleagues on Saturday, July 20 when they pair up on Team WNBA as they take on Team USA in their final game before heading to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, .

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese match up before WNBA All-Star Game

"That's what everybody wants to see," Reese told ESPN on Friday before she and Clark will forces in the WNBA All-Star Game Saturday night. "I'm looking forward to it. Everybody can wear their 'Get Along' shirts together for one day, at least.

"So, I know a lot of people are going to come and watch us, to see all of us, but there's a lot of talent within both rosters of the teams, so they're in for a good one."

Reese and Clark's rivalry great news for WNBA

Clark and Reese forged a rivalry through college basketball when they met in the NCAA Women's Division I championship game when the Iowa Hawkeyes were defeated by Reese's LSU Tigers.

They then met again a year later in 2024 but it was Clark who had the last laugh by eliminating her rival from the Elite Eight stage of the March Madness postseason as she went on to reach the championship game again, although she came up short.

Their rivalry has been highly marketable to the professional women's basketball game as their June 16 face-off collected an audience of 2.25 million viewers, peaking at three million, as Clark got one over on her foe.

Their June 23 showdown between the Sky and Fever then drew in 2.3 million viewers from ESPN, a great result for the WNBA's brand growth as Reese hit back in their rivalry head-to-head.
