- NBA. Damian Lillard disses Trail Blazers in new rap song 'Farewell' after ing Bucks
Damian Lillard is now a part of the Milwaukee Bucks after spending 11 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, so it's understandable why he can't stop saying goodbye to the city and its fans.
Lillard, 33, took to X (Twitter) on Thursday to share a written message bidding farewell to the franchise. The lengthy letter comes one day after he released a rap song saying his goodbyes.
"The moments on the basketball court as great as they have been, don't even compare to the experience I've had with all of you," Lillard wrote to Blazers fans. "The way you embraced me from day one gave me no choice but to reciprocate the love a thousand times and I don't regret it one bit."
Damian Lillard will play for Trail Blazers again
Lillard finished his message by offering a bit of hope to Trail Blazers fans, saying one day will come when he returns to Portland.
"I do believe a day will come where I put a Blazers uniform on again, and hopefully by then I'll be forgiven for breaking your hearts along with my own," Lillard wrote.
