Roman Reigns has agreed to follow in the footsteps of his cousin, Dwayne Johnson, and conquer Hollywood. The WWE wrestler, known for his charisma and in-ring presence, has expressed his interest in exploring full-time opportunities in film, leaving the wrestling company behind completely.

It's no secret that WWE stars make this leap once they've established themselves as box office draws in wrestling, and Reigns is no exception. It appears that he has no plans to renew his contract, which is up in a few years.

In a chat with Vanity Fair, the reigning "Tribal Chief" revealed that his relationship with WWE will end after WrestleMania 42, scheduled for April 11-12, 2026. Reigns, 39, hinted that his time in the wrestling ring could be coming to an end soon.

Roman sets retirement date

"After my current contract is up, I'll probably be around for another year or two at the most. Then it will be time to move on to a less physical form of entertainment," he said.

After his wrestling career, Roman Reigns could focus on Hollywood. The Samoan has already appeared in Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw and is set to appear in Action Force and The Pickup. Although his time in the ring is coming to an end, his legacy as one of WWE's most iconic and dominant champions is guaranteed.

That wasn't all he said in the interview. He also took a jab at his former boss, Vince McMahon, who is facing charges of abuse of power and sexual harassment against a former employee of the company.

"It's shameful. It's one of those things you don't want to hear, let alone have your family hear. She has to carry the weight of everything that happened, and I sincerely hope that she is now in a place where she feels comfortable and safe," the "Tribal Chief" said.

The lawsuit against Vince McMahon is tarnishing WWE's reputation and fueling the debate about its internal culture. McMahon denies everything, but the case remains under worldwide scrutiny. Roman Reigns, a pillar of the company, breaks his silence, signaling a shift toward ability.
