Former WWE Superstar and Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny stole the hearts of professional wrestling fans for his incredible dedication to the sport, making him the best celebrity to ever step foot in the ring.

His last WWE appearance was at Backlash 2023 PLE, which took place in San Juan, Puerto Rico. At the event, Bad Bunny faced fellow countryman Damien Priest in a San Juan-style street fight.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the Puerto Rican singer talked about several topics on his new album, but what caught the most attention was his desire to return to the WWE: "I want to do it one more time. I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn't risk it enough in the ring, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother. When? I don't know. We stay in with the people at WWE, we're always paying attention to what's going on. But when, I don't know," he replied.

On social media, the WWE Universe was abuzz with these statements, with some even thinking that he could be one of the surprises at the Royal Rumble 2025, but that version seems unlikely as Bunny also made it clear that he needs to be physically ready to get back in the ring.

¿Bad Bunny makes a brutal spoiler for an WWE event?

Bad Bunny not only surprised with his intentions to return to wrestling, but during an interview with Rolling Stone, he was asked how he felt about WWE holding an event in Puerto Rico, his country:

"It was good for them and for everybody, because I saw that last year Backlash was in , now it's going to Mexico," he continued.

That's right, it all seemed like Bunny had spoiled the venue for the next Backlash 2025. However, everyone seemed happy for the Mexicans to finally have a PLE in Aztec country... PWInsider reported a few hours ago that WWE sources have denied this information, the event will not be held in Mexico despite the singer's comments. The company is still in the process of determining which country will officially host the event.
