- Boxing. Joe Rogan stuns fans with worst possible scenario for Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight
- Boxing. Joe Rogan doesn't want Mike Tyson to face Jake Paul: How long does he have left? He's not going to live forever...
Joe Rogan is known to many as one of the voices of the UFC. However, when the 57-year-old isn't talking about the action in the octagon, he's sharing his thoughts on a variety of other topics.
During a recent episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience", Rogan discussed the possibilities of life on other planets, including UFOs and UAPs.
"When I hear the UFO stuff, there's a part of my brain that's like don't get suckered into this. This s*it's nonsense! It's just that, if they were to tell me that a super volcano was going to erupt, I'd believe it because they are real. But for UFOs, there's part of me that says I don't believe you!," said Rogan while talking with guest Shawn Ryan.
Rogan shares story from his past
Rogan also discussed a story told to him by a woman he dated in the 90s. She stated she lost some of her privileges at work when she started looking into life on other planets.
"When I was very young, around 24, I was dating this girl who did something in the government and this was pre-internet. One of her jobs was to make sure that the information that the Navy had would reach the Army," said Rogan.
"There was some sort of database in like these computer terminals where she could share information and she had some sort of top clearance. One day, she wrote 'Little Green Men' in the search function, and then her system shut down and people visited her.
"They asked her why she looked this up and I think she ended up losing her clearance in some way. She was doing something that was not requested by the authorities and did it on her own."
This isn't the first time Rogan has talked about aliens on his show. He once spoke with Dr. Avi Loeb, an astrophysicist who theorized that a mysterious interstellar object 'Oumuamua' may be the origin of extraterrestrial origin.
"Basically, I follow the evidence. Just like Sherlock Holmes trying to find solutions," said Loeb. "You have some anomalies that don't quite match to things that you expect to. The thing about Oumuamua was that it was discovered on 19 October 2017 and it was the very first object that visited the vicinity of our planet outside of the solar system!"
