Nick Kyrgios has earned yet more unwanted headlines during the Miami Open, with the Australian tennis star having been fined 35,000 dollars for his behaviour during the tournament.

In what is the merely the latest in a long line of fines handed down by the ATP, Krygios was charged with four counts of misconduct during his quarter-final defeat to Jannik Sinner.

The Australian was deemed to have used audible obscenities, shown unsportsmanlike conduct and directed verbal abuse towards a match official in his quarter-final defeat on Thursday.

All this came just hours before he was back on court to take part in the semi-final of the double's tournament.

With his total fines for this tournament hitting 35,000 dollars, Krygios has been haemorrhaging money during the 2022 season.

He was also required to pay a 25,000 dollar fine for his behaviour at the quarter-final of the Indian Wells tournament earlier this month, when he was defeated by Rafael Nadal.
