The Summer Game Fest 2025 is just around the corner, bringing with it video game conferences including the SGF event itself, the Xbox Showcase, Yuste's Ñ3, the PC Gaming Show, and many more. This year, the event promises to reveal a wealth of video game news, with exclusive premieres and updates on anticipated titles. Today, at MARCA Gaming, we want to offer you a complete overview of all the game rumors, confirmed titles and our predictions for Summer Game Fest 2025.

In this article, we will talk about all the developers and publishers that have confirmed their presence in one way or another, all the video games that will present some kind of novelty, the most important rumors and the titles we expect to see even if nothing has been said about them.

Summer Game Fest 2025: all the confirmed games

As usual, a few games have already been confirmed to be present in one way or another at the Summer Game Fest.

The video game that will be shown in one way or another will be The Witcher 4. In a post on its official X , the company commented that it will be present at The State of Unreal to show some of the technologies and features it has used in it. No gameplay is expected to be shown.

Next, developer and publisher IO Interactive has confirmed that on Saturday, June 7, it will hold its first IOI Showcase. This will feature MindsEye, the new game from the creator of GTA 5, 007 First Light, a new James Bond video game, and some news regarding HITMAN World of Assassination.

Similarly, Microsoft has revealed that it will devote a fairly large space to The Outer Worlds 2 in a broadcast that will take place at the end of the Xbox Games Showcase.

505 Games revealed that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (a soulslike with a rather dark aesthetic that will be released on July 24) will be shown again at the SGF. Kakao Games has done the same with its highly anticipated MMORPG Chrono Odyssey. Another game that will be shown is Crystal of Atlan.

That's not all. Although he has not said what he will talk about, Hideo Kojima will be one of the great guest stars at the event. Among other things, the Japanese will show Death Stranding 2 before its release. For its part, Mundfish will show (surely a DLC) some novelty about Atomic Heart.

Similarly, on June 6, Devolver Digital will present BALL x PIT: The Kenny Sun Story, while Supermassive Games will show a preview of Directive 8020 during the Future Games Show Summer Showcase. During this we will also be able to take a look at other games such as Crisol: Theater of Idols, Ahoy and Tenet of the Spark.

Another of the studios that has confirmed its presence is 2K, which will show a new trailer for Mafia: The Old Country or Borderlands 4. We don't know which one it will be, but one of the two should be present. Maybe both. Bioshock is another one that has been rumored.

And for science fiction lovers, Owlcat Games has 'indirectly' confirmed that it will be present at the Summer Game Fest. Through a brief tweet they have informed that they have received a new message and that they need our help to decipher it. It is clear that they have something to show us this weekend.

These are the most rumored games for SGF 2025

It's quite common for the days leading up to the Summer Game Fest to be full of rumors. This year is especially strong in this regard, as it is the first time that PlayStation and Nintendo are listed as sponsors of the event.

Taking this into , it is logical that Ghost of Yotei, Mario Kart World and other exclusive releases (whether first-party, third-party, temporary or not) will be present during the Summer Game Fest 2025 conference. Some believe that the Wolverine game should appear, as not much has been known about it since 2021.

However, if we have to talk about rumors, Xbox is the name that is being mentioned the most: Fable and Gears of War E-Day are the most repeated, as well as Perfect Dark and Blade. After the success of the remastering of Oblivion, many are hoping that Bethesda will announce something about Fallout. Nothing is expected from TESO 6, but it has also been talked about.

What does seem likely is that we will get some preview of the new content from World of Warcraft, Diablo and/or Sea of Thieves, three of its most outstanding service games. The same goes for The Elder Scrolls Online.

It is rumored that Halo could be announced on PlayStation alongside other major sagas, but I'm not sure if Microsoft will want to dedicate part of its space to talk about the games that will be released on another platform. I infer that this will continue to be reserved for less important events, but it could also be.

On the other hand, now that it has returned from the dead, Hollow Knight: Silksong could have a space reserved alongside its release date. It would not be as strange as one might expect, as there is no better scenario than this and it is one of the most eagerly awaited news by the community.

What other games are we looking forward to seeing during the NO-E3?

Among some of the most common bets by the community and certain insiders are other big names such as Persona 4 Remake. It is not one of the favorites in most pools, but it has been strongly rumored.

There has also been talk of a possible Tomb Raider reboot, The Wolf Among Us 2 and Bioshock 4, the latter being one of the ones that fits in the most with everything that has been rumoured in recent weeks.

Judas is another of the games that could confirm its release date. In addition, there is a lot of talk about the new Splinter Cell game, Resident Evil 9 and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. And no, many of these rumors do not come out of nowhere.

Geoff Keighley has already confirmed many of the event's major sponsors. As you can see in the image we have left you, we find SEGA, Kakao Games, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch 2, Frontier, Epic Games, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, 505 Games...

If they are there, it is usually for a reason, and this is the basis of many possible announcements. In fact, I'm surprised that Square is not being talked about more, because I think it has the potential to present something big, whether it's a new trailer for FFVII Remake Part 3, Dragon Quest XII or another major production.

Final Fantasy IX seems to be a strong candidate in this regard, as all the movements that took place around it do not seem to be a coincidence. Final Fantasy Tactics has been much less talked about, but it could also be. Kingdom Hearts 4 seems unlikely, but that tweet from a few weeks ago has also started to make it sound.

Similarly, we also expect Nintendo to show new footage of its major Switch 2 exclusives. The console will be released on June 5, so there is no better time to send another big message to the world.
