To call the Super Bowl, Romo won't get any extra incentive or bonus, as it comes with the role for a company that broadcasts The Big Game every few years. Back in 2017, Romo signed a 10-year, $180 million deal with CBS to call games alongside Jim Nantz.

Romo replaced Phil Simms and became a hit with football fans, particularly for his ability to spot specific plays before the ball was snapped. But the shine always wears off.

Over the past two seasons, Romo's ad-libs and mannerisms have drawn the ire of viewers. So much so that CBS apparently held an "intervention" with Romo during the 2022 offseason in order to get his "game-calling back on track".

Romo, meanwhile, will continue collecting around $18 million per year through 2026.
