The San Francisco 49ers have made it to the Super Bowl twice in the last five years, but both times they were defeated by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite these losses, George Kittle is choosing to stay positive.

The 49ers' first loss to the Chiefs came in Super Bowl LIV, where they held a 20-10 lead at the end of the third quarter. However, Mahomes led a dramatic comeback, securing a 31-20 victory for Kansas City.

In Super Bowl LVIII, the 49ers faced the Chiefs once more. The game was tight, but a crucial overtime decision by 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan led to another defeat, with the Chiefs winning 25-20.

Despite these tough losses, Kittle remains upbeat and continues to focus on the future, aiming to help the 49ers achieve Super Bowl success in the coming seasons.

Kittle's sincere response

In a recent episode of the "Bussin' with the Boys" podcast, hosted by Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, Kittle was asked about his feelings after coming up short in multiple Super Bowls.

"It does suck," he noted.

"Losing Super Bowls is not fun. They both suck in their own way. But no, I wouldn't say one hurts more than the other. I think just recency.

"It's not very fun but another way to look at it is like, well, I woke up the next day and I get to play football again. Like it is what it is like climbing back up the mountain and push the rock back up the mountain.

"What else am I going to do? Yeah, I had my time of being super sad and stuff like that. But it's just like, alright, well, let's start working out again.

"Let's just continue to play well, stay as healthy as we can and get back to the playoffs."
