The Pittsburgh Steelers are blowing it all up and starting from scratch-and no team in the NFL looks more unrecognizable heading into the 2025 season. In a complete offensive overhaul, the Steelers now stand alone as the only team in the league without their leading er, rusher, or receiver from the 2024 season.

With Russell Wilson and Justin Fields both gone in free agency, Najee Harris bolting for the Chargers, and George Pickens now catching es from Dak Prescott in Dallas, Pittsburgh is officially starting over.

The chaos? All part of the plan. And the masterstroke? They're hoping it ends with Aaron Rodgers under center.

It's a rare sight in the NFL-teams almost never part ways with their top three offensive weapons all at once. In fact, not a single franchise did it last offseason. But for Pittsburgh, it wasn't just change for the sake of it.

Their offense sputtered late in 2024, limping into a five-game losing streak and crashing out in the Wild Card round. That disappointing collapse made one thing crystal clear: it was time for a new era.

The movements that surprised everyone

The Pickens trade might've seemed like a shock, but it started with one honest question from the young star: Who's going to throw me the ball? With offseason workouts underway and a quarterback room led by Mason Rudolph and rookie Will Howard, there wasn't much of an answer.

And for Pickens, déjà vu from the QB carousel of previous seasons was enough. So when the Cowboys called, offering a new deal, a franchise quarterback in Prescott, and a chance to team up with CeeDee Lamb, the decision was easy.

Meanwhile, Najee Harris wasted no time moving on, g with the Los Angeles Chargers back in March. Now, the Steelers are stripped down to the studs-and it's clear they're betting big on a rebuild that could center around one massive free agent swing.

Waiting for Aaron Rodgers

All eyes are now on Aaron Rodgers, who has yet to commit to ing any offseason programs. But if the Steelers can land the future Hall of Famer and recreate a bit of that vintage Rodgers magic, this wild reset might just be the boldest move of the offseason.

Are the Steelers tearing it all down just to build Rodgers his dream offense? Stay tuned.
