As usual, Aaron Rodgers has been creating his own saga during free agency in recent years, with potential retirements, possible destinations, and many other things revolving around the talented NFL quarterback.

Awful play! Aaron Rodgers' last with Davante Adams

A couple of years ago, when Rodgers left the Green Bay Packers, he decided to play for the New York Jets just days before that year's Draft, leaving several teams in uncertainty. This offseason has been no different.

After a couple of disappointing years with the Jets, Rodgers is now a free agent. Despite being 41 years old, his talent keeps him in high demand among several NFL teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers-whom he has already visited-the Minnesota Vikings, and the New York Giants.

Minnesota Vikings keep J.J. McCarthy in suspense

Last year, the Vikings selected the talented Michigan Wolverines quarterback, J.J. McCarthy, in the first round. His talent and potential excited Vikings fans. However, last year, during preseason, the rookie suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee during his debut against the Las Vegas Raiders.

In that game, McCarthy threw two touchdown es but reported knee pain, and an MRI ruled him out for the season. Sam Darnold then took over, leading the Vikings to the playoffs.

Now, with Darnold's departure, McCarthy was expected to be the Vikings' starting quarterback. However, with Aaron Rodgers being linked to the team and available in free agency, the franchise has yet to confirm their 2024 first-round pick as the starter.

"And I'm glad they haven't done it because I'm trying to earn it every day. I don't want it to be something that's just handed to me. It's such a privilege and an opportunity to have that chance, and I'm just going to try to make the most of it every day," McCarthy said in an interview with Kay Adams.

For now, the Aaron Rodgers saga continues, and according to reports, he will make his decision much like in 2023-waiting until just days before the Draft or even after. In the meantime, McCarthy's uncertainty is real.
