Tom Brady's Raiders' New Hire: Brandon Hunt
The Las Vegas Raiders franchise, featuring Pete Carroll as Head Coach and John Spytek as General Manager, welcomes Brandon Hunt to the organization, a pivotal figure in the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl LIX championship team.
Hunt will serve as Vice President of Player Personnel for the Raiders, concluding a successful tenure with the Eagles, where he built highly competitive NFL teams over three years, rising from Director of Scouting to Senior Director of Scouting.
This hiring marks a significant loss for the Philadelphia Eagles, as Hunt was a critical component of the Eagles' scouting department, instrumental in their Super Bowl victory.
Per Raiders: Hunt comes to Las Vegas from the Philadelphia Eagles, where he was part of the Super Bowl LIX Championship team. He most recently served as the Senior Director of Scouting in 2024, following two seasons as Director of Scouting (2022-23).
Prior to his time in Philadelphia, Hunt spent 12 seasons (2010-21) as the Pro Scouting Coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he was responsible for scouting opponents and evaluating pro players. From 2007-09, Hunt served as a pro scout with the Houston Texans, after working as an intern in the Steelers' scouting department from 2005-06, during which he was part of the staff for Pittsburgh's Super Bowl XL championship team.
