Travis and Jason Kelce have done just about everything you can do on a football field-Super Bowl wins, Pro Bowl nods, All-Pro honors. But their latest run of success has little to do with blocking schemes or touchdown spikes.

Instead, it's their voices doing the heavy lifting. The brothers' podcast, New Heights, has become a sports and entertainment powerhouse since its launch in September 2022. With millions of monthly listeners and a dedicated following that stretches well beyond football fans, the show blends unfiltered NFL talk with sharp humor and brotherly chemistry.

Now, their growing empire might be heading straight into awards season territory.

The Golden Globes will introduce a "Best Podcast" category in 2026, according to Variety. Within hours, the New Heights X responded with a meme-style post that perfectly captured their excitement-and confidence.

With a track record that includes topping Apple's podcast charts and nabbing sponsorship deals with brands like State Farm and Amazon, New Heights is more than a side project. It's a full-blown media force. And the Kelces, ever the competitors, seem ready to go all-in for a trophy that doesn't come with laces or leather.

In an episode earlier this year, Travis joked that a podcast award "might actually get me to wear a tux." Jason, never one to miss a chance to needle his younger brother, quipped, "We'll see if you even get invited."

Behind the laughs is a serious shot at history. The Kelce brothers could become the first athletes to win a major entertainment award for podcasting. According to The Ringer, podcasts like SmartLess, Armchair Expert, and The Pat McAfee Show are also likely contenders-making the category highly competitive from day one.

And while Travis may be better known right now for catching es from Patrick Mahomes or appearing alongside Taylor Swift, it's the mic he shares with Jason that could bring their next major spotlight moment.

With a built-in audience, media savvy, and a genuine connection that fans can't get enough of, the Kelce brothers aren't just podcast hosts-they're redefining what athletes can do in the media world.
