Jason Sudeikis has confirmed the fourth season of Ted Lasso and even dared to give some details on 'New Heights', Travis Kelce and Jason's podcast.
There isn't much information with so many details, but Sudeikis already confessed that the script is in progress and they are still working on it, but the most surprising thing was his big revelation of a change that will change the 'game'.
The Kelce brothers wanted to get exclusives and previews out of him, but Jason put them off with his grace: "There are too many questions," he said jokingly.
But he did let slip: "Ted coaches a women's team, so there's that," leaving many questions unanswered for fans who began to form their own theories about what was to come.
And the fact is, Ted Lasso, played by Sudeikis, coached AFC Richmond for the first three seasons, raising expectations to the highest level.
Ted Lasso will return for a fourth season
This would be a great comeback after almost two years away. Season 3 of the show ended in June 2023, but it will return on Apple TV.
However, creating a new season is a challenge for the entire cast.
"Because we've told the story we wanted to tell, but there's more and they're a very nice group of people to work with," Jason said.
He's also not forgetting what happened in Hollywood a few years ago with the strikes.
"The universe kept saying things," after Hollywood emerged from the actors and writers strike in 2023. Whether it was nice people in airports or on the internet or friends of my family or just other people in the industry... and I was like, 'Okay, I'm listening,'" Sudeikis said.
Bill Lawrence, the show's co-creator, hinted a few months ago that a fourth season was up to Jason Sudeikis, who has the full of the fans and crew.
Only time will tell if it was a good idea, as well as waiting for more details as there is still no release date, it is expected that several key actors such as Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift will also be part of the cast.
