Travis Kelce has once again proven that he's more than just Taylor Swift's boyfriend-he's a true Swiftie. During a recent episode of his New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end showed off his knowledge of Swift's Saturday Night Live history while chatting with comedian and Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis.

The conversation turned to SNL when Sudeikis, who was a longtime cast member on the show, reminisced about some of his favorite sketches. One that stood out to him was Potato Chip, which he revealed was originally performed with Swift when she hosted the show.

"We did a sketch called Potato Chip," Sudeikis said. "The very first time we did it was with Taylor when she hosted."

Without missing a beat, Kelce excitedly responded: "Nice! A young Taylor, too."

Sudeikis went on to explain that the version of the sketch Swift was in never made it to air. Instead, the sketch was later performed with actress Blake Lively, who helped refine it for television.

"She ended up getting it over the hump for us," Sudeikis shared, describing it as one of the "silliest" moments on the show worth looking up.

Swifties react to Kelce's deep-cut SNL knowledge

Kelce's awareness of Swift's SNL history did not go unnoticed by her fans. Social media was quick to erupt with praise for the NFL star, with many joking that he might just be an "OG Swiftie" himself.

Swift made a major impression during her SNL hosting debut in 2009 when she became one of the rare performers to handle both hosting and musical guest duties.

One of the most talked-about moments from her appearance was her comedic monologue song, in which she playfully addressed rumors about her personal life.

The song featured lyrics about "writing songs about douchebags who cheat," a clear reference to her very public breakup with Joe Jonas. She also threw in a playful nod to rumors linking her to Taylor Lautner and even included a jab at Kanye West, who had infamously interrupted her at the 2009 MTV VMAs.

Sudeikis himself had a cameo in the sketch, playing a security guard humorously pretending to watch out for another Kanye West interruption.

After Kelce's remark about Swift's SNL appearance, fans couldn't help but speculate whether he was also familiar with her monologue song.

"So he knows the monologue song," one Swiftie posted. "Now I'm imagining her singing, 'Now if you wonder if I'm engaged to the football player.'"

Another fan added: "I'm starting to wonder if there's any video of Taylor that this man hasn't found. OG Swiftie."
