Travis Kelce is taking a step back from the public spotlight, and some are wondering if he'll have a brand new look the next time we see him.
The Kansas City Chiefs star is laying low following the team's disappointing Super Bowl LIX defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles. The defeat ended the Chiefs' hopes of becoming the first NFL team to win three straight Super Bowls.
Add in the fact that Kelce is weighing up his playing career, and it is no surprise the tight end has moved away from the limelight in order to enjoy some much needed downtime with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
After appearing on last week's New Heights podcast with brother Jason, the duo are off this week. The last time we saw Travis he was sporting a "playoff beard", which he talked about with his brother.
"I feel when I look in the mirror, I look rugged. I'm focused - focused on something," Travis said.
"I'm working towards getting some s**t done. I haven't been worried about anything but getting s**t done.
"I feel the power of it. [The beard] gives me power - I've been playing way better."
New look for Travis?
With the dream of another Super Bowl win now over, some are wondering if Travis will be sporting a cleaner look the next time he's seen in public.
The fact that he has gone off the radar this week with no new podcast episode has some fans suggesting that may be the case.
While there is no new podcast, that doesn't mean Travis has been completely radio silent as reports suggest he spent $140,000 on Valentine's Day gifts for Swift.
"He decided to send flowers, roses as it's the symbol of love and she loves them so much," a source told The U.S. Sun.
The couple have been dating since 2023, and rumors over a possible engagement have been swirling in recent weeks, though at this time it appears Travis hasn't popped the big question.
