Kayla Nicole, fitness influencer and former partner of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, is stepping into February with a mix of humor and reflection.

With both the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day just around the corner, Nicole recently shared a lighthearted yet revealing moment on Instagram about her plans-or lack thereof-for the romantic holiday.

In a video shared on her Instagram Stories, Nicole joked about an exchange with her nail artist, who dared to ask about her Valentine's Day plans.

"My nail lady had the nerve to ask me today, on January 57th, if I have plans for Valentine's Day," Nicole said, poking fun at how the question felt untimely and unnecessary.

With a playful eye-roll, she added, "Don't piss me off." Her quip seemed to signal her current single status and her indifference toward Valentine's Day this year.

Nicole and Kelce ended their six-year, on-and-off relationship in 2022, and both have since moved on in different ways.

While Kelce has made headlines for his relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift, Nicole has been candid about the challenges she's faced in the aftermath of their breakup.

"Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, it's been overwhelming," she itted in a past interview.

Since their split, she has dealt with waves of online criticism, often from fans of Kelce and Swift.

"You can go to my most recent post, and it will be people debating why I am worthless," she shared, shedding light on the harsh scrutiny she endures.

Despite the negativity, Nicole has focused on carving her own identity. She has distanced herself from the Chiefs community, unfollowing Brittany Mahomes and other Chiefs-associated s on social media.

Kayla Nicole's NFL loyalties shift

Ahead of the Chiefs' recent AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills, Nicole revealed her preference for a different outcome.

"I would love to see the Buffalo Bills pull the upset," she remarked on a podcast, expressing a desire for a fresh narrative in the NFL.

Now, with the Chiefs heading to the Super Bowl, Nicole's allegiance seems to have shifted to the Philadelphia Eagles.

On Twitter, she wrote, "It will be a storybook ending either way on Feb. 9th. And as a fan of the game, that's really all you can ask for." This sentiment, while neutral on the surface, hints at her quiet for the Eagles.

As February unfolds, Nicole continues to face the public eye with humor and resilience. Whether joking about Valentine's Day or subtly rooting for the Chiefs' rival, she proves that she's focused on living life on her own .
