The Kansas City Chiefs booked their place to a fifth Super Bowl appearance in the last six seasons with a hard-fought victory over the Buffalo Bills, 32-29, on Sunday night.
The win came hours after the Philadelphia Eagles took down the Washington Commanders in the NFC, 55-23, setting up a rematch of Super Bowl LVII. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs came out on top 38-35 that day.
Following Sunday's action the early betting line for this year's Super Bowl, which takes place on February 9 in New Orleans, came out, with the Chiefs the favorites. As per ESPN Bet, the Chiefs head into the game as 1.5-point favorites.

Not everyone is picking the Chiefs
While several ESPN analysts have weighed in with their best prop bets for the game, Seth Walder stated he is siding with the Eagles when it comes to who will win.
"I'm backing the team that, by EPA per play, had the better ing offense, rushing offense, ing defense and rushing defense this season -- postseason included," said Walter.
"And one that is getting two points! FPI is with me on this, favoring the Eagles by just over two points. Yes, this means going against the magic of Mahomes in the postseason (which has certainly burned me before -- see: last week!), but I've never been one to ignore the numbers and I'm not going to start now."
Prior to Sunday, the Eagles were the betting favorite amongst the teams playing in the Conference Championship.
