Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has achieved extraordinary success on the football field, but off the field, his role as a father takes center stage.
Now a proud dad of three-Sterling, Bronze, and the newest addition, Golden Raye-Mahomes has drawn inspiration from his own parents, Pat Sr. and Randi, to guide his parenting style.
Mahomes' upbringing uniquely positioned him for life in the spotlight. His father, Pat Sr., played as a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1992 to 2003, introducing a young Patrick to the realities of professional sports. Meanwhile, his mother, Randi, has been a constant source of , frequently attending Chiefs games to cheer on her son.
Both parents left a lasting impression, instilling in Mahomes a drive to pursue his ions.

"I think both my parents just really taught me how to follow my dreams," Mahomes shared with NFL Network in 2023, as reported by The Kansas City Star.
"They didn't care if I was an athlete. They didn't care where I was going. They just told me to follow my dreams, do whatever I could to have no regrets at the end of the day."

Now raising a family of his own, Mahomes strives to instill the same values in his children.
"I think that's what I'm trying to do with my kids now," he continued. "Obviously, I'm trying to parent in my own way, but I want them to enjoy life. And they're young now, but if they want to play sports, they can play sports. If they don't, they don't have to. Just enjoy it and follow their dreams."
Mahomes' three children, Sterling Skye (born in 2021), Patrick "Bronze" Lavon III (born in 2022), and Golden Raye, represent a chance for the NFL star to pay forward the lessons of his parents.
