Brittany Mahomes was left feeling unsettled after a recent burglary at her home with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Reports indicate that their Missouri residence, along with teammate Travis Kelce's nearby Leawood home, was targeted in early October within a 48-hour span.
Initially, details of the items stolen were unclear, but recent updates reveal that the burglars took Brittany's jewelry and designer bags, as well as a collection of Patrick's sports memorabilia, including jerseys, medals and trophies.
Items from Patrick's personal "man cave" were also reported missing, making the incident deeply personal for the Mahomes family.
Brittany expressed concern following the break-in, feeling that their sense of security had been compromised. Patrick echoed her sentiments, voicing frustration over the situation.
"The Mahomeses got really angry as Brittany felt really bad that people got into their privacy, into their private spaces, and felt really bad about it for a bit," an insider told the U.S. Sun.
"That really bothered them a lot, especially her, as she always wants her safe space and her family and kids to be in the safest places 24/7, and home is their sanctuary in the middle of the super active life they have."
Frustrated Mahomes
Local authorities are actively investigating, with from the FBI to assist in resolving the case. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs star expressed his frustration about the incident.
"It's frustrating, it's disappointing," Mahomes said. "I can't get into too many of the details because the investigation is ongoing, but obviously it's something you don't wanna happen to anybody, obviously yourself."
