- Kelce. Travis Kelce's performance plummets as Taylor Swift's influence takes over
Fans of Jason and Travis Kelce were once again entertained when a new fake movie poster featuring the football star brothers was shared, following the viral success of previous reimagined posters from their New Heights podcast team. The latest poster, released on Friday, October 11, gave a humorous twist to the 1999 romantic comedy Notting Hill, with Travis taking on Hugh Grant's role and Jason filling in for Julia Roberts.
This playful creation comes after a previous series of movie posters in August, where the Kelce brothers were superimposed into iconic film artwork.
Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, swapped places with Michael J. Fox in a Back to the Future poster, while Jason, the retired Philadelphia Eagles center, and his wife, Kylie Kelce, took over for Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in a Barbie poster.
Fans loved the concept, and many began suggesting additional movie posters they wanted to see featuring the Kelce brothers.
The conversation that inspired the poster
The Notting Hill poster was inspired by a conversation the brothers had during a recent New Heights episode. Travis shared that he "enjoyed" the film, prompting Jason to challenge him on the plot. Travis itted he wasn't the best at describing movies, so Jason took over, humorously summarizing the plot as a story about "two famous people who fall in love."
Travis quickly corrected him, explaining, "No-one famous, one not famous." This led to a lighthearted exchange, with Jason questioning the believability of Hugh Grant being the less popular one, saying, "That's a good-looking man."
The new poster, just like the previous ones, sparked plenty of laughter and requests from fans, one whom labeled it as "masterpiece", for even more movie-themed Kelce content.
The New Heights team has consistently found creative ways to blend the brothers' fun personalities with pop culture, and these reimagined movie posters have become a fan-favorite feature of the podcast's social media content.
