- NFL. Taylor Swift and her favorite places in London to party without Travis Kelce
- NFL. How many Chiefs games will Taylor Swift be able to attend to Travis Kelce in the new NFL season?
Taylor Swift will not appear at the Kansas City Chiefs vs Detroit Lions NFL preseason contest due to her tight schedule as she continues her record-breaking Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London.
The 34-year-old popstar has been a regular fixture at the Arrowhead Stadium since she began dating Travis Kelce, who went on to win Super Bowl LVIII with her in attendance at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in February 2024.
In response, her boyfriend of the same age has repaid her by appearing at her show (and even in it) in Paris, London, Amsterdam and as they aim to fairly split their time together through their demanding careers.
Unfortunately, there is a slight overlap of schedules at the moment after Kelce had to report for Chiefs' duties from July 21 and this means Swift will not be able to watch him take to the field for the next warm-up NFL game.
She is currently closing out the European leg of her Eras Tour by performing in the United Kingdom once again as she heads to London between August 15-20, taking to the stage at the illustrious Wembley Stadium.
She will then take a break until October 18 when she will return at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami to continue with shows in the United States and Canada before the iconic tour ends for good.
When is the Lions vs Chiefs fixture?
The Chiefs come into the contest having lost their opening fixture of the preseason against the Jacksonville Jaguars 26-13 in Florida, with both Patrick Mahomes and Kelce taking to the field in the defeat.
So, they will look to get back to winning ways against the Lions when they take to the field at the Arrowhead Stadium against the Lions on Saturday, August 17 before taking on the Chicago Bears on August 22.
They will then take a break before kicking off the season with Thursday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens live on ESPN on August 5, with the game scheduled to start at 20:20 ET/17:20 PT.
