Two women have filed a lawsuit against NFL kicker Brandon McManus and the Jacksonville Jaguars, accusing McManus of sexual assault during a team flight to London last year.

The lawsuit, reported by ESPN, alleges that the incidents occurred while McManus was playing for the Jaguars.

Plaintiffs: Jaguars flight from London turned into a party

The plaintiffs, referred to as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, filed the lawsuit in Duval County Circuit Civil Court.

They accuse McManus of inappropriate and unwanted physical , including grinding and rubbing against them during the flight.

Additionally, the lawsuit claims the Jaguars failed to supervise McManus adequately and did not ensure a safe working environment for the flight attendants.

The plaintiffs are seeking over $1 million in damages and have requested a jury trial.

While McManus and his attorney are expected to issue a statement soon, the Jaguars have declined to comment on the ongoing legal matter.

ESPN has also reached out to McManus' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, for a statement.

The lawsuit describes the September 28, 2023, flight as having devolved into a "party" atmosphere, with McManus and other players allegedly disregarding the flight attendants' personal space and safety protocols.

Jaguars organization accused of gross negligence

According to the lawsuit, McManus handed out $100 bills to encourage other flight attendants to participate in the alleged misconduct.

Jane Doe I claims McManus attempted to kiss her and twice pressed against her while she was serving meals.

During one incident, another Jaguars player reportedly witnessed McManus' behavior and appeared embarrassed.

Jane Doe II alleges that McManus behaved similarly towards her, and when confronted, he allegedly "smirked and walked away."

She avoided further by remaining on the aircraft's second story on the return flight.

The plaintiffs, who had just started working on the Jaguars' charter flights, report experiencing severe mental and emotional distress due to the incidents.

They have since been removed from the core crew that staffs the team's flights, a position they had worked hard to attain.

The lawsuit accuses the Jaguars of gross negligence for failing to train McManus on appropriate conduct, supervise him, and enforce policies protecting flight staff from sexual misconduct.

McManus had ed the Jaguars in May 2023 after being released by the Denver Broncos.

He signed a one-year, $2 million contract and performed well during the season, making 30 of 37 field goal attempts and all 35 extra points.

After his tenure with the Jaguars, McManus signed a one-year, $3.6 million contract with the Washington Commanders on March 14.

The Commanders have acknowledged the lawsuit, stating they are taking the allegations seriously and are in communication with the league office and McManus' representatives.

They have refrained from further comment at this time.
