The parents of Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson were featured on the NBC broadcast of the 2023 NFL Season Opener against the Kansas City Chiefs and some fans were not too happy about that, for whatever reason.
Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) took to X, formerly known as Twitter, during Thursday Night Football to complain about Melissa and Chris Hutchinson getting air time.

"Why are we putting a mic on Aidan Hutchinson's parents.....?" Meirov tweeted.
A quickly responded with the obvious answer: content. Hutchinson's parents are pure gold with the camera on them.
His mom watches the game through binoculars and often has to ask her husband, who was a solid defensive player in college, what just happened.
