While he hasn't secured the deal yet, it's likely to happen - possibly even before the start of the season. One of the goals set by new Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer is for Parsons to truly become the team leader, and so far, he's rising to the challenge.
Despite not having signed his new contract, Micah Parsons has reported to training camp. Typically, players in contract disputes hold out until a deal is reached, but the former Penn State star has taken a different approach.
Parsons recently left a humorous message on social media, saying that CeeDee Lamb has found a new best friend in George Pickens.
