Every year before the NFL Draft, there's speculation that Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys might do something wild like selecting a high-profile player such as Shedeur Sanders or someone similar. But this year, the Cowboys were once again smart despite the rumors, addressing key needs like the offensive line and certain areas on defense.

Following the departure of offensive linemen Tyron Smith and the surprising retirement of Zach Martin-both players with Hall of Fame credentials-the Dallas Cowboys selected guard Tyler Booker from Alabama, aiming for an immediate impact to protect Dak Prescott.

One of the Cowboys' major needs is a number two wide receiver. However, the front office did not select any in the Draft, so there's still no sidekick for the spectacular CeeDee Lamb. There are rumors that the team might meet with veteran Amari Cooper, who has a positive history with Dallas.

The Dallas Cowboys will give an opportunity to a player with an inspiring story

Tyler Neville from the University of Virginia was not selected in the Draft but will still have a chance to earn a spot on the team as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys.

It will be a tough challenge as he'll compete in a very deep tight end group, which includes Jake Ferguson, Luke Schoonmaker, Brevyn Spann-Ford, and John Stephens Jr. The odds of making the team are slim, but Neville has a powerful life story and will surely fight hard for a spot.

A clip circulating on social media shows Neville talking about the obstacles he's overcome in life, and now he'll have the opportunity to fight for a place with the Dallas Cowboys.

Neville shared that he was born deaf and had to undergo multiple surgeries to be able to hear. He was also diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's lymphoma during high school.

The tight end began his college career at Harvard before spending 2024 at Virginia. In his only season playing in the ACC, Neville recorded 37 receptions for 394 yards and two touchdowns.
